Why buy a new set for the backyard when your existing outdoor setting has great bones and can be transformed into a gorgeous new arrangement.

We proposed to update our clients well used ( 25 year old ) aluminum frames with an elegant powder coat in a gloss anthracite shade and completely renewed the seat cushions with Sunbrella outdoor fabric slips, and used premium outdoor open cell outdoor foam for the fills.  Our atelier made dramatic texturally striped print reversible cushions and voila!

It made a lot of sense since to update the existing frames as new frames of this quality are very pricy.  The original colour of the frames blended in too much to the concrete and the cushions.  I wanted to add drama to the setting by starting with the colour of the frames.  We chose the Antrhacite colour because it was less severe as a black, and by choosing the gloss finish, it was easier to maintain as well. 

(Not to mention, it matched our clients Mercedes Benz colour!)

Taking on a revitalization like this requires many moving parts so we started the process in January to get a head start.  Everything was ready by spring when the flowers were ready to plant.

The transformation was amazing, our client was thrilled and the product was better than new!
