Because our dogs drink so much water, I thought it would be a good idea to get a water container for the dogs that didn’t have to be filled so often.  Emmy thought it was great and Sophie was scared of it…

These little brats have two more weeks of the good life until a new baby shows up on the scene.  All of our lives will drastically change once baby Emilee arrives around Sept 21st.

It will be so interesting to see how they react to the new baby.

It might not be good….

This is Noemmy Michelle, the newest addition to our family.

She loves to eat and give kisses.  She has already been to Pet’s Mart to be groomed, and she got an A++ on her report card.  I was so surprised she did so well, as she wasn’t good for me when I tried to groom her.  We took her to Arkansas this past weekend, which is a six hour drive, and she did great in the car.  We had a bed for Sophie and a bed for Emmy in the back seat.  During the trip I noticed that Emmy had gotten in Sophie’s bed.  Ryan and I thought it was super sweet.  Then several minutes later, Emmy got back in her own bed.  When we stopped at the rest-stop, we realized that Emmy had gone over to Sophie’s bed, tinkled, and then went back and got in her own bed!!!!  So, we had to change the bedding in Sophie’s seat….  I couldn’t believe it; what a little stink Emmy is!!  But, she is cute and we are having fun with her.  Sophie likes her….the majority of the time…. 

We recently went on a trip to Branson and stayed at Chateau on the Lake.  It was beautiful.  We took Sophie and received two offers buy her!

I love foggy mornings.

Our room was upgraded to a King Suite with a lake view which is $100/night more than we actually paid.

When our grass gets too long this happens….

Sophie knows when we are getting ready to go to Starbucks and trots out the door as if she is invited.  The strange thing is, she hates the car but loves going to Starbucks.  It is very short drive so that could be the reason.  The Baristas at Starbucks have told us several times, after seeing Sophie in the car with us, that the whipped topping makes a great treat for dogs.  So, feeling generous, we ordered our whipped cream on the side this morning.

The verdict….?

Lick, Lick, Lick Oh my.  Now we are off to take a walk on this beautiful day!

Last time I got Sophie groomed, they cut around her bottom (you know…) incredibly short.  It looked strange because her bottom had this bright white spot with no hair.  Well I took her in today to get groomed again.  I asked about it and they told me that is called the “sanitary cut!” LOL
