Last weekend I went to a high-school football game to watch my sister cheer. It was the most beautiful night. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my camera so I could zoom in on my sister. This picture was the best I could do with my trusty i-phone.
This past week, my mom came to visit and we rode our bikes a lot. One day we rode all the way to the Jenks pedestrian bridge. Another day we rode all the way past Broken Arrow on the Creek. Anway, we wanted to know exactly how far we had ridden. I found this site called MapMyRide.com that allows one to map the exact distance of a bike ride. If you ride bikes, check out this site. It is very helpful in earning bragging rights…. 
A word of advice: if you plan to take a 20+ mile ride, do not ride in the middle of the afternoon. That is what my mom and I did and I got Heat Exhaustions which is not fun at all.

Oh….memories
Here is my mom on our new bikes. We love this style of bike. My mom and I rode 20 miles on the Saturday morning she was here. She is coming back down to Tulsa to “see me” but we both know she just wants to ride my bike.
Here is Ryan on his bike. Mine is the blue one and his is the red one. Ryan thinks we need to set the trend in Tulsa for these new recumbent bicycles.

I was driving to get my tire changed today and I ran into a closed road. It looked like the road was several feet under water. There was a news crew covering the story. After turning around, I saw this house. This house is on Garnett across from Grace School.
This is the prettiest tree at our apartment complex. The blooms are just gorgeous and it smells wonderful. Does anyone know what it is?
