I hope to have a little girl that teaches Jazzercise this well someday. For one, she is so confident in her cueing. Two, it doesn’t appear that she is receiving any help in performing the routine.

This is just darling.

Our New House February 2, 2009

Here are some pictures taken last week of the progress on our house being built.  They have the walls up now!  Yay!!  These pictures were taken just after the foundation was done.  We were told that even with the recent ice storm, they are ahead of schedule.

The morning I took these photos, I had walked up from the apartment complex.  As I was walking I saw a man facing the road from a distance, and I couldn’t figure out what we was doing.  He happend to look up, see me, and proceed to act incredibly suprised.  He almost jumped.  It was then that I realized he was urinating!!  He acted like he didn’t know what to do, so he turned towards one of the houses being built.  When he was finished with his job, he zipped up faster than lightening, and ran back inside.  LOL  Urinating in the middle of the city, facing the road…REALLY??

This past week, my mom came to visit and we rode our bikes a lot.  One day we rode all the way to the Jenks pedestrian bridge.  Another day we rode all the way past Broken Arrow on the Creek.  Anway, we wanted to know exactly how far we had ridden.  I found this site called that allows one to map the exact distance of a bike ride.  If you ride bikes, check out this site.  It is very helpful in earning bragging rights….  :)  A word of advice:  if you plan to take a 20+ mile ride, do not ride in the middle of the afternoon.  That is what my mom and I did and I got Heat Exhaustions which is not fun at all.

Here is the Jenks Pedestrian Bridge that we rode across.

This sign has some graffiti on it now.

This part of the trail is nice as it is shaded!!
